Our Mission is simply... "Bringing Glory to God all Week Long." However, we do not believe that this equals being in a church service all week long; so everyone say AMEN!
As a church, we are called by God to help people learn to bring glory to God every day, if not every moment, of their lives. We do not teach that this task is something you need to struggle to accomplish in your own strength. We believe the scripture when it tells us that (Jesus) who begins a good work in you is also capable of finishing it. If we were capable of being great Christians on our own, Jesus never would have had to die on a cross. However, now that He has given us that gift, we are responsible for receiving it. We teach the doctrines of Justification and Sanctification. Although there has been a lot of confusion about these doctrines, they simply mean to: Accept the "gift" of Christ's sacrifice by acknowledging that you need it (Justification). Then spend the rest of your life unwrapping that gift, discovering all that it has to offer, allowing it to clean you and empower you for Christian living (Sanctification). Accepting God's gift, opening it, and then sharing it with others is what brings glory to God.
So our mission is to "Bring Glory to God all Week Long" by:
Connecting people to God in worship continually
Connecting people to others in fellowship regularly
Connecting people to ministry often.
We will attempt to do this by:
Creating a climate of worship that enables people to say “yes” to the love of God.
Cultivating a community that nurtures spiritual growth in the lives of believers.
Commissioning every believer to serve the Lord, the community, and the church, through their unique talents and gifts.
Communicating the gospel to everyone we can and in every way we can!
